Gohan (Thai: โกฮัง..หัวใจโกโฮม, lit. 'Gohan..A Heart That Goes Home'), a Thai drama film released in 2026, directed by Chayanop Boonprakob, Nattawut Poonpiriya, and Atta Hemwadee. It is produced by GDH 559, the same studio behind How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, The Paradise of Thorns, and Bad Genius. The film stars Jinjett Wattanasin, Tontawan Tantivejakul, Chartchai Chinsri, Nopphand Boonyai, Yasushi Kitajima, and Po Mamee Ta.

The story follows a white stray dog with a pink nose named "Gohan," whose life unfolds across three different stages. Throughout his journey, he longs for a place to call home and for an owner who can give him love and warmth. The film is scheduled to be released on April 2, 2026.

Plot

The film tells the story of a white stray puppy with a pink nose who lives, eats, and sleeps in front of a 7-Eleven. In the beginning, he spends his days carefree and playful, yet deep down he dreams of having a warm home of his own.

He later meets his first owner, Hiro, a Japanese automotive engineer nearing retirement, who gives him the name "Gohan." As fate unfolds, Gohan, now grown into a young dog, meets his second owner, Namcha, a Burmese housemaid who cares for and protects him during his time at a stray dog shelter.

As time passes, Gohan grows into a seasoned dog and eventually meets his third owners, Pelé and Jaidee, two university students who decide to take him in. In his old age, Gohan repays their kindness by teaching them the true meaning of love.

The story takes the audience on a journey through three stages of Gohan's life, where each phase represents a new beginning, and every farewell becomes a lesson of the heart, all in search of the true meaning of "home."

He took the dog in and cared for it for three months before handing it over to officials. This experience later became the inspiration for producer Vanridee Pongsittisak to develop the story into a film • Meechok (lucky), a 2-year-old dog, was discovered by Nattawut after an extensive search. He eventually found Meechok with his owner in a provincial area. Meechok portrays Gohan during his young adult stage • Kori, a 2-month-old puppy, was a stray rescued by an animal welfare group. The group took him in for treatment and foster care before preparing him for neutering and adoption. Nattawut later came across Kori through a pet adoption group on Facebook and contacted the new owner to bring him in for filming

Shortly after GDH 559 released the film's trailer in early March 2026, it received overwhelmingly positive reactions, with many calling it one of the most anticipated Thai films. Audiences were also charmed by the adorable dog and his three owners.
