Step into the electrifying world of All Elite Wrestling's annual spectacle, AEW Revolution 2026, a night where careers hung in the balance and champions were forged. Hosted in the iconic Crypto.com Arena, this seventh installment of Revolution delivered an unforgettable blend of high-stakes drama and athletic prowess. From bitter rivalries culminating in brutal encounters to the surprising returns of wrestling legends, this event had it all, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.

A Night of Revolution

AEW Revolution 2026 was more than just another wrestling show—it was the seventh annual installment of one of All Elite Wrestling's most prestigious pay-per-view events. Revolution holds a special place, being one of AEW's "Big Five" shows, designed to deliver peak excitement and high-stakes drama to fans worldwide.

This particular Revolution unfolded on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, California. For the second consecutive year, the Crypto.com Arena played host to this grand spectacle, solidifying its place as a fitting battleground for wrestling's elite.

Making history in its own right, this event marked AEW's first pay-per-view to livestream internationally on MyAEW, the company's brand-new streaming service. This move significantly expanded its global reach, bringing the action closer to fans across the globe.

The Road to Revolution

Like all great wrestling stories, the narratives culminating at Revolution were meticulously crafted over weeks and months on AEW's flagship television programs, Dynamite and Collision. These shows built the feuds, raised the stakes, and set the stage for the explosive encounters we witnessed.

Page's Last Chance: A World Title Dream

The main event saw a deeply personal rivalry explode for the AEW World Championship. "Hangman" Adam Page, after failing to reclaim the title at previous events, put his career-long ambition on the line against the reigning champion, MJF.

Page challenged MJF to a brutal Texas Deathmatch, with the added stipulation that if he lost, he could never challenge for the AEW World Championship again. A controversial double-sided coin flip, exposed by Page, solidified this as his "Last Chance" bout—making the stakes impossibly high.

Moxley vs. Takeshita: No Time Limit, Pure Grudge

Another hotly anticipated match featured Jon Moxley defending his AEW Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita was the only non-Death Rider to defeat Moxley during the 2025 Continental Classic, leading to a draw in their subsequent rematch.

Frustrated by the time limit preventing a decisive victory, Moxley issued a challenge for Revolution with a groundbreaking stipulation: no time limit. This was the first time the Continental Championship would be defended without its traditional time constraint, promising a grueling, definitive encounter.

FTR vs. Young Bucks: A Feud Reignited

The AEW World Tag Team Championship was on the line in a highly charged rematch between FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson). This rivalry, already legendary, escalated dramatically when FTR targeted the Young Bucks' family, including their younger brother, adding a deeply personal and bitter layer to the contest.

The Grand Event Unfolds

With 13 matches contested throughout the night, including three thrilling bouts on the "Zero Hour" pre-show, Revolution 2026 delivered non-stop action. Every championship in AEW was fiercely defended, and new contenders rose to the occasion.

Beyond the scheduled matches, the event was punctuated by astonishing moments: the returns of beloved stars like Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Will Ospreay, and Kenny Omega. Adding to the star power, mainstream combat sports icon Ronda Rousey also made a memorable appearance, sending shockwaves through the arena.

Revolution featured 13 professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing feuds and storylines. Storylines were produced on AEW's weekly television programs, Dynamite and Collision.

At Full Gear in November 2025, "Hangman" Adam Page lost the AEW World Championship. He then failed to regain the title the following month at Worlds End in a four-way match that also involved MJF, who won the championship. Page then won a match at Grand Slam Australia in February 2026 to earn another title match at Revolution. After that, Page challenged MJF to a Texas Deathmatch for the title, but after MJF refused, Page offered that he would never challenge for the title again if he lost, and MJF accepted. A coin flip occurred the following week to decide the stipulation where tails meant that the match would be a Texas Deathmatch but heads would be that MJF could not be disqualified. After MJF flipped the coin and it landed on heads, Page noticed that the coin was double-sided, and consequently, AEW President Tony Khan officially sanctioned Page's last chance as a Texas Deathmatch.

During the league matches of the 2025 Continental Classic, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Jon Moxley with this being the only non-Death Rider to defeat Moxley during the tournament. Moxley, however, ultimately won the tournament and the AEW Continental Championship at Worlds End. He faced Takeshita again at Grand Slam Australia in a match that ended in a 20-minute time limit draw. Frustrated that he did not defeat Takeshita in the time limit, Moxley issued a challenge for a rematch at Revolution with no time limit, which Takeshita accepted, marking the first time that the title would be defended without its time limit rule.

On the February 11 episode of Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) won a three-way tag team match to earn a title match against FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Revolution. Things got personal after FTR assaulted The Young Bucks's family, including their younger brother, Malachi, on the February 21 episode of Collision.
