The 2026 season will be the San Francisco 49ers' 77th in the National Football League (NFL), their 81st overall, their 13th playing their home games at Levi's Stadium, and their tenth under the tandem of general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan. 2026 opponents

On February 5, 2026, the NFL announced that the 49ers, as the road team, would face the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, as part of the NFL International Series.
